That’s why I wanted to film this easy floral butterfly face paint tutorial and show exactly how I create one of my most requested party designs step-by-step.

One of the reasons this design works so beautifully is because we keep the structure simple.
Instead of starting with large wings across the entire face, we first paint a small butterfly in the middle of the design to create a focal point.
From there, we surround the butterfly with double-dipped flowers throughout the design, building colour, movement and softness around the face.
This technique creates a design that feels full and impressive without becoming difficult to paint.
